Sponsored by Representative Martin Grohman (I) of Biddeford, LD 1338 was reported out of the Committee on Taxation, “Unanimous Ought to Pass as Amended,” and has broad tri-partisan support. The bill is a very straightforward proposal that can have significant impact on preserving and creating jobs in Maine, and provide even greater incentive for lenders providing the capital required to finance these conversions. As the legislative session comes to a close, cooperators in Maine are making a final push for the proposal to be funded. Stay tuned!
