In 2012 CDI helped launch the Data Commons Cooperative, which now boasts 30 members from across the continent. Its members range from grassroots groups such as SolidarityNYC to large umbrella organizations such as the US Federation of Worker Co-ops. The co-op is addressing the difficulty that people face in finding up-to-date information on organizations that are part of the solidarity and cooperative economy by making it easier to share and work together. Speaking of which, if you have ever looked for information and want to make that easier next time—now is a good time to pitch in to the Data Commons crowdfunding campaign!
