Project Information
HFI’s Sandy Pines Mobile Home Park is a 56-lot non-profit-owned manufactured housing community. A Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) was completed in December 2024 and is available for download here. The PER recommends upgrades for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater. This project will focus solely on drinking water, including upgrading the Nitrate Treatment System and replacing the distribution system. The total project cost is estimated to be nearly $1 million. Upgrading the community’s nitrate treatment systems is the highest priority.
The project’s scope will be determined based on the funding available through an ARPA Healthy Homes grant award.
