Southern New Hampshire University is bringing a unique learning opportunity in member engagement and storytelling to its campus in June 2020 for current and aspiring leaders in cooperative businesses. The certificate seminars set to take place June 15-19th, will bring to life the values-based business practices of the cooperatives they work for with progressive managerial skills and inspiring communication tactics.

Collaborating with Cooperatives for a Better World, CCA Global Partners, the National Cooperative Bank, 1Worker:1Vote, Cabot Creamery Co-operative, and the Local Enterprise Assistance Fund, SNHU is working to close a gap in higher education opportunities specializing in the cooperative business model.

Business professionals and students around the world are grappling with big questions facing business, community impact, and sustainability issues. Member engagement and storytelling around these topics are essential tools to any business finding success in today’s competitive marketplace. There is an opportunity to chart an unprecedented course forward for cooperatives through deepening an understanding of cooperative business and how to share that story with employees, consumers, and communities, and meaningfully engage members in that story. These 2020 summer Cooperative Management Certificates bring to life the values-based business practices of cooperatives with progressive managerial skills and inspiring communication tactics. This tailored cooperative learning opportunity is recommended for current and aspiring member services, communication, and marketing managers of cooperative businesses.
