Project Information

Sunset Terrace Mobile Home Cooperative, Inc. is a 78-lot manufactured housing community that residents collectively purchased in February 2016. An infrastructure evaluation was conducted in November of 2015 as part of the pre-purchase due diligence. In 2021, RCAP Solutions produced a map of the community’s water and wastewater infrastructure and provided a list of observations and recommendations.   Sunset Terrace’s highest priority at present is to replace its water main under second street, which has surpassed its useful lifespan and services approximately 30 homes in the community.

Sunset Terrace Mobile Home Cooperative’s first step towards redeveloping its infrastructure is to work with the procured engineer to apply for a USDA-RD SEARCH grant that would fund a Preliminary Engineering Report to study water, wastewater, and stormwater systems.
